Made in Northern Portugal with durability and longevity at the heart of every pair. We use as little synthetic fibre as possible, while retaining the stretch and recovery our leggings need for everyday comfort. Currently, this means using 5–6% elastane. As fabric technology develops, our ambition is to create ELVARA leggings that are completely plastic-free

They're comfort-led rather than technical hiking or performance leggings, making them easy to wear, smart and a stylish fit for every occasion, 365 days a year.
What are ELVARA leggings made from?
We prioritise natural-fibre-rich fabrics chosen for comfort, durability and everyday wear - such as Cotton and Lyocell. Fabric composition varies between styles, so you'll find the exact materials used on each product page.
We aim to keep plastic usage to a minimal with our Leggings using only 5-6% elastane in order to retain stretch and recovery. As fabric technology develops, our ambition is to create completely plastic-free ELVARA leggings without compromising comfort or durability. That isn't currently possible with natural materials like rubber and would significantly impact the fit and lifespan of our Leggings.

ELVARA leggings are designed to feel comfortable and flattering without the restrictive, high-compression feel associated with performance gym wear that you can buy on the high street or at low prices online.

Where are ELVARA leggings made?
ELVARA Clothing & Leggings are made in Portugal, working with manufacturers selected for their expertise and focus on quality. It would have been more cost effective to manufacture in Asia, however this would have meant working with factories that utilise poor working conditions and deliver an inferior product that will not last.
We believe in creating fewer, better pieces designed to be worn and enjoyed again and again, by factories that we trust.
